How we handle enquiries

Who we are

This notice explains how Ternlith Software handles information sent to us through this website. Contact us at hello@ternlith.com or on 081 368 6888.

Enquiry information

When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address and, if you provide them, your business name, the service you are interested in, a project description, a budget range and preferred timing.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information only to respond to you and to discuss a possible project.

Who receives it

Enquiries sent through the form are processed by Formspree, a form handling provider, which delivers them to Ternlith Software. Our hosting provider also processes technical records needed to serve the website, such as IP addresses and request logs.

How long we keep it

For enquiries that do not become projects, we delete the enquiry records we control from our email mailbox and Formspree within six months of our last contact. Records relating to client projects are handled separately according to contractual and applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics only if you choose Accept analytics on the banner. Its purpose is to show us, in aggregate, which pages are useful and how often people get in touch by phone, email or enquiry form. Google Analytics does not run, set cookies or send any data until you accept.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies on our domain, including cookies whose names begin with _ga, so it can tell visits apart. It records the page you viewed without any search or fragment text, the page title, and the phone, email and enquiry events described above. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, business details, budget or enquiry message to Google Analytics. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy.

You can choose Reject analytics on the banner, or use Cookie preferences in the footer at any time. Your choice is remembered for six months in a cookie called ternlith_analytics_consent. If you reject or withdraw consent, we stop collecting analytics, delete the Google Analytics cookies we can reach from your browser, and reload the page without loading Google Analytics.
